This fancy design was created by one of the children that read "Fairyality" by Elwand, a beautifly illustrated book about fairies and the designs they wore for different occaisions. All of the designs were created from natural materials.

" Imagine what you would do if you  were creating  illustrations or designs  for your own book?"

That is exactly what the children did when they took  "The Designer's Journey." This was the event  that the Westchester Fashion Academy for Children and Barnes & Noble hosted back in September 8,2007.

We had a great turn out. When the event was over children and their parents continued to purchase the pre-selected books for quite some time !

We've been asked back , so keep your ears tuned in and check back to the web site from time to time to find out when the next event will begin !
